Superior Air Filtration Technology
Typical particulate filters can ONLY remove particulates from the air stream, not gaseous contaminants. In order to properly clean your indoor air, it is important to not only remove the particulates, but also the gaseous contaminants. Purafil manufactures and engineers dry-chemical pellets that remove gaseous contaminants from the air and package these inside our filters. We call these pellets Media because they are the medium through which the contaminants are removed. Purafil has combined both of these methods into one combination filter; the Purafilter®. This unique product removes particles AND toxic, corrosive, irritant and odorous gases.
